Pastors Franklin & Charlena Croutch

Co-Pastor Franklin B. Croutch

The Man

Born the eldest of five children, Franklin Bernard Croutch, was born to Bobby Lee Croutch and Carolyn Scoggins.  He was raised in Charlotte, NC and attended the Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools.  Franklin graduated from Walk In Love Christian Academy and now attends Full Sail University seeking his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Production.

The Love and The Legacy

In October 1999 Franklin was joined in Holy Matrimony with the love of his life, Charlena Hamlin. “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder” (Matthew 19:6).  The newlyweds soon relocated to Roosevelt, New York, where they still reside with their 3 handsome sons: Anthony, Bernard and Jayden. They share a powerful unprecedented love.  Together they serve the ministry and community, teaching and preaching the unadulterated life-changing Word of God, impacting the lives of all they touch.

The Anointing

In August 2006, Brother Croutch was ordained a Deacon and began to serve the Lord faithfully. In 2008, he acknowledged a higher calling on his life, for the Lord had greater need of him.  Minister Croutch began to share the Word of the Lord under the power and anointing of the Holy Ghost.  In April 2009, his wife, Evangelist Charlena Croutch, was installed as Pastor of the newly named, Refuge Citadel of Hope Church, and he was elevated to Elder-Designate.  In 2012 as the church was grafted into the Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Michael A. Blue, Elder Croutch was ordained and elevated to Co-Pastor.  Co-Pastor Croutch is a prayer warrior and truly a man of great faith.

The Music

Co-Pastor Croutch is taking the lead in bringing to the world, a musical anointing birthed from the womb of many generations.  He was blessed to spend his youthful years under the influence and tutelage of his musical inspiration and godfather, Pastor John P. Kee.  Co-Pastor Croutch began his musical journey playing the drums as a preteen with his local church, but his desire to master every instrument drew him to the keyboard, which is now his primary instrument.  Co-Pastor Croutch’s passion for music and love for God’s people has inspired him to unselfishly share his gifts and anointing everywhere he goes.  In addition to serving the local ministries whenever he can, Co-Pastor Croutch along with his wife, Pastor Charlena, began their professional music career as lead singers with Greg Hoover and the Charlotte Community singers.  In 2006, they released their debut CD entitled “Survivor” which has been a tremendous blessing across the world.  Co-Pastor Croutch was also the Co-Producer for Bishop Wesley Knight and the NYC CCFM Voices of Worship (V.O.W.) Ensemble on their first recording, which was released in March 2013.

Co-Pastor Croutch has a very unique ministry that continues to bless the lives of many; it cannot be denied that the Lord has greater works in store for this man of God.
